Sendinblue
This website uses Sendinblue to send newsletters. The provider of this service is Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany.
Sendinblue is a service which organizes and analyzes the distribution of newsletters. The data you provide to subscribe to our newsletter will be stored on Sendinblue servers in Germany.

Data analysis by Sendinblue
We use Sendinblue to analyze our newsletter campaigns. This allows us to determine if a newsletter message has been opened and which links you click on. We can thus find out how often various links are clicked.
In addition, we can see if certain actions take place after clicking on said links (conversion rate). We can thus determine whether the clicking of a link in a newsletter has led to a purchase, for example.
Sendinblue also allows us to classify newsletter recipients into different categories (clustering). For example, newsletter recipients can be subdivided according to gender, personal preference (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian), or customer relationship (e.g. existing or potential customer). This allows us to adapt the newsletters to the respective target groups.

Storage duration

Please note the following information and conditions: The European Update Seminars are organized by the company med update europe GmbH. After registration and receipt of a confirmation, a binding contract is made between the participant and med update europe GmbH.
The participant administration process will be transferred from med update europe GmbH to wikonect GmbH, Hagenauer Strasse 53, 65203 Wiesbaden, Germany. wikonect GmbH will invoice and collect the registration fee on behalf of med update europe GmbH.
Conditions for Participation
The participation is intended for doctors and medical experts only. The registration is individual and not transferable.

Terms of Payment and Cancellation
Terms of payment and cancellation for registration fees shall be paid on issuance of the invoice. The invoice shall only be issued to the attendee and shall bear his or her invoice address. Please pay by money transfer free of charge, paypal or by credit card, only after you have received the invoice, stating your name and the invoice number. If you should need to change your registration, please address wikonect GmbH via post, fax or e-mail. In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before commencement of the congress a processing fee of 50,- Euros (35,- Euros for a livestream ticket) will be charged. In the case of cancellation after this date the invoice amount shall not be reimbursed. The full invoice amount shall also be paid, if a registered attendee fails to show up at the event.
Please note that cancellations can only be accepted in written form.
Changes and cancellation of an event / livestream by the organizer: Events shall only take place if a minimum attendance number is reached. med update europe GmbH reserves the right to replace speakers, change the date and location, to cancel events or to change the program. If an event is cancelled, already paid fees shall be reimbursed in full. Any further claims for compensation shall be ruled out. Changes of reservation due to force majeure from on-site tickets to livestream tickets will be allowed at no cost.

Availability of Livestream and Digital Documentation
Access to the livestream is only possible simultaneously to the on-site event, according to the

6 weeks after the event. Participants will be informed about the availability if they provide

Filip Van den Bosch graduated in medicine at the University of Ghent, Belgium in 1991; he became board certified in rheumatology in 1996 and received a PhD degree in 2003, with his doctoral thesis focusing on the exploration of the therapeutic potential of TNF-alpha blockade in spondyloarthritis patients, including ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis and bowel related arthritis.
He is currently working as Head-of-Clinic and professor of Rheumatology in the Department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University Hospital of Ghent University. The department has a long history of performing clinical and basic research, linking inflammatory bowel disease to the different rheumatological entities belonging to the spondyloarthritis concept. The department has been cited continuously as a Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology by EULAR since 2006.
He is currently still on the executive committee of the ‘Assesments in SpondyloArthritis International Society’ (ASAS) after serving as the treasurer from 2012 to 2020; he is also member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). His main interests are in clinical research. Dr. Van den Bosch has been an investigator in several international or investigator-initiated clinical trials and mechanism-of-action studies in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis and especially the diseases belonging to the spondyloarthritis concept. He is the author or co-author of more than 200 peer-reviewed international publications and chapters in textbooks.
